National Parks
National Parks are designated areas of protected landscapes. Established in 1948 under legislation in England and Wales, they have become cherished and familiar characters within the British countryside. National parks offer conservation for native wildlife, habitats and local heritage as well as providing an enjoyable experience for visitors.
