West Yorkshire > Bradford

Bradford Council is has an active team of landscape specialists working on landscape and environmental planning, masterplanning, landscape design and project management.

Landscape planning work involves application of planning policy relevant to the landscapes of the Bradford district which range from the moorlands and dales of the South Pennines to the urban centres of Bradford and Keighley. The River Aire flows through the district, which is part of Leeds City Region.

While the adopted local plan is currently the Replacement Unitary Development Plan 2005, a new Local Plan will incrementally replace the Replacement Unitary Development Plan (RUDP) over the next few years. The first parts of the plan are already underway with the production of the Core Strategy and Area Action Plans.
